It's pretty easy to get tired of hotels.  In many instances private rentals offer a pleasant  alternative to a hotel.  Acapulco is home to some of the greatest private homes, villas and condominiums in Mexico.  Often rental rates for a large villa can be more affordable than a  hotel, especially if you are traveling with a group.  With some rentals you may get a cook, a full time maid and even a vehicle with driver included in the price of your rental.  While private rentals are not for everyone, if you don't check it out, you will never know what you are missing.
